Hi guys these little one are under a Mars TS 1000 led just starting off... The soil has been used used as a mixture of soil from an old grow about 25% mixed with 75% new soil... Probably not ideal but this Is a friends grow so it telling him otherwise..

So is there any clue as to what may be up? The light is about 2 and half foot away also...Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Giro, what is the new soil being used is it heavy in nutrients? they are really struggling doesnt seem to be any perlite in the mix looks like the roots are suffering. Whats the watering schedule been has nutes been added and have you got plenty of drainage also whats the PH of water?

The soil looks pretty heavy, not much perlite in there to lighten the mix and create areas for oxygen for the roots. It could be that they are over watered or it could be having a hard time getting oxygen in a compact root zone, the results to the plant are similar.

I usually recommend planting the seed in a solo cup as it starts and let it be there for a week or two as it developed a good root system, before transferring it into a larger pot size. This helps with getting the right amount of water in the soil for the new roots, which really do not need much water in that size of container.
