Why is my new growth look like this

Hi just wondering why my new growth leaves look bunched and twisted is it normal and will it straightn up as it opens up

Hi Madman, so IV seen you post a couple questions and look at your pictures and have noticed the brown stripes in the photos, makes it hard to see thing. did I read somewhere that it is due to taking pictures under mh light? Just thinking if we can get clearer pictures.....
I may be wrong and will see if I can find the article.

Using the flash will eliminate that

it's actually the flickering from a magnetic ballast that operate at a lower frequency (50 or 60Hz). that's just the light going on and off which isn't visible to the human eye Digital/electronic ballasts operate at a much higher frequency and have a more constant light

basically his light flickers on and off 50-60 times per second which is slow enough that the camera can sort of capture the darkness. My ballast operates at 120,000Hz which is too quick for the camera to detect so it appears as solid light.

I had figured on something in lighting was the culprit just re read the taking better pictures articles and it was hps I was reminded of. Nice to know, I would figure that one would have to shut down the ballast then take a pic in natural light? Let get this one some better pictures.

I just figured he had them locked up behind bars lol. you might see them looking good in a couple of days I think that is just new growth unfolding some strains are different with new growth. then again I did think they were behind bars so take it with a grain of salt lol
