when growing in bubbleponics nebula flushing before adding new nutes

Flushing is plain P.h'ed water no more food for them. It's at the end of the grow for 2 weeks or less.
 
I have used florakleen before. It's supposed to help them use up all their stored nutes faster and help flush better??i guess. Honestly I haven't noticed a difference between using that and just plain water tho.
 
At least according to the tutorial you just drain the old water and replace with the new water every reservoir change. From what I understand the only time you "flush" in hydro is during the last few days before harvest when you give just plain ph'ed water in the reservoir, to help remove any extra nutrients in the buds.
 
You don't need to flush between reservoir changes. If your plant needs less nutrients you can just water down your reservoir a little bit by adding plain water. The Hydroguard builds up a colony of good bacteria in the water that fights against the organisms that cause root rot. If you try to sterilize the container during reservoir changes you may accidentally kill all the good bacteria, which could make your roots more vulnerable to root rot.
