Whats up with this seedling?

Hey all,

Planted some new seeds, and one has come out like this. Can I get more info on what to do please!

That seedling has "helmet head" - a condition where the seed coat remains stuck on the cotyledon leaves..
It is no big deal. Place a drop of water on it a few times a day to soften it and it should fall off. If it is still sticking after one or two days, use a pin or needle to GENTLY pry it off. The seedling will be fine.

This can happen , sometime planting the seed a little deeper can help with shedding the seed husk.
Follow @Allotrope1000 advice and just be super gentle if it comes to prying it off

I sometimes use two fine point tweezers to gently pull it off but that is risky. I grab both sides and pull apart without putting pressure on the seedling. My hands aren't as steady as they used to be.

I use a spray bottle to mist the husk with water a few times a day, sometimes I have to pry the husk off, just be careful
