I am growing to two plants in 5 gallon outside. soil is totally Happy Frog. They are about a month old and I noticed some yellowing leaves. Looking closer I found clumps of this brownish material at the intersection of side stems with the main stem. Please see pictures and tell me if there is any hope or treatment. Thank you

Looks like sap from the plant healing wounds. I see several snaps, unless I'm seeing wrong.
