using seeds from Auto flowering plant.

I had a auto flowering plant go to seed, I was wondering if the seeds from this plant will be auto flowering and ok to germinate and plant.

Wht do u mean did it self pollinate? Cuz if so yea they r auto but if it was pollinated by a photo then probably not

If they sprout, they will grow. Do you know if the pollen source is an auto?
If both parents are autos, I believe the offspring will be as well, but it is my guess that auto flowering is a simple recessive trait. Meaning that it is unlikely to be an auto if the pollen came from a photo period plant.
Anybody here know? I'd love to know as well.

Autos are always female by definition so if it self pollenated it would have to have 'hermied' - right? I wouldn't used the seeds if this is what happened - bad genes. It seem that if it was pollen by a plant of another strain, it could grow that strain. It's all a crap shoot.

It's almost an oxymoron isn't it? I have two autoflower seeds that I have yet to grow and they will be my first, but they are supposed to be feminized. Thanks for the link.

Sorry Bubbadog, didn't mean to piggy back on your question.
