No it's better at 70+ when lights are out if that's the question. I'm guessing your low temp is when light is off on the grow? Others in this forum will give you many different answers on how to increase those temps. I like just leaving my flaps/door open during cool evenings with autos that's one of the reasons they are fun to grow. I've had temps in the 50'sf overnight in a tent when lights go out. You may get some purple stems or slower growth with the lower temps like that but 66f is not bad at all. Good luck
No more than a 10* swing from lights on. I suggest you look into a small heater for your tent if your lights off temps go out of range. I like to raise my lights off temps in stretch to keep internodal stretching to a minimum. I found one that I can program to maintain temp in the tent. It puts out a max of 500w. You don't need anymore than that if you're heating inside the tent. If it drops below my setpoint it turns on. Once it hits it it shuts off.
In my case I need it to maintain a specific temp at a specific time. Heater has a timer I can set so that it turns on when I need it to and maintains that temp until the timer goes off. Usually around the time lights go on.
