"REMOVING THE FAN LEAFS FROM AN AUTO"

My 4Auto Fem girls are 2 weeks in the 5gal DWC....Loaded with new growth and growing well...Pics tommorow...Just wondering if I should remove the large fan leafs as to get more light to the center....They are about 8" tall and 10" wide.....Lots of inside growth that is covered up by the large fan leafs....

No actual experience with an auto here, not yet anyway. We've all seen the success with autos that Green75 has had with doing much more than removing a few fan leaves. So I will unfaltering say yes, get those big fan leaves out of there if they are blocking the light getting to potential bud sites

Again, having no experience, I'd say once flowering has begun don't overdo the defoliation, just those blocking buds. Another forum member that has huge success growing autos is rockman. Maybe they will come along later with more advice.

Sounds like you are have a great start. Looking forward to pictures.

Listen to Green75. But don't go overboard and cut too many. Cut what you need to do and then watch carefully and see how they react.
