Pistils are prematurely brown

High, my present grow is in flower and just over 3 weeks old. On day 21, I significantly defoliated them. These six plants have grown out to completely fill every bit of space in my 5x5 tent. So, things were tight and I bumped and jostled many of the buds. Now, two days later, many of the pistils are brown. Could it be that I bruised them? If so, will that hurt the grow in any way?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
 
It happens when you hit them or bump them. I think it damages them. I do it to mine some times. Gotta be really careful cause I think it aborts the calyx. Idk. I think
 
Asking what's wrong with pistils that are 'just medium brown colored pistils. Otherwise, they look fine.' is extremely vague. If you can't take pictures, like I often can't, check out the GWE website.
