I am growing for the first time out doors in the sth hemisphere any clues?

Probably the same as the northern hemisphere, you would just have the months reversed.

Yeah, but for the most part, the only real difference is that when we celebrate a white Christmas, they celebrate it in the beach and water goes down the drain backwards Unless you're in the Arctic circle or directly on the equator, it's really all the same. Day and night lengths are just reversed in the same month.
