Girl Scout Cookies,Gone,not the weed just the name,Karmel Kush,Gone You get the jist.The move is intended to protect children from ingesting Marijuana,labeled with such names.I asked my wife what she would rename Said weed,and without even having to think,she said just label them,"Green Beans,Broccoli or Brussels Sprouts,"Not a kid in the world that can read would go near em.So ! What would you name em,to make a kid less apt to eat em.

I do kind of agree on the Girl Scout Cookies......that one sort of rubs me the wrong way. Maybe because I was a girl scout. I remember nebula posted a list of strain names she will not grow - there were mostly obscene. If you took ever appealing or food word out of strain names, there wouldn't be much left. I do like your wife's idea - split pea soup - no kid would go near it.

Will breeders rename their strains or will they just be renamed at the dispensaries?

Pankace,I'm not sure who will be responsible for the naming,probably the grower,since most comes already packaged.The article didn't specify.Gonna be confusing for awhile though.
Insomniaczzz:I really don't think renaming is going to fix the problem,if you have toddlers around,use some common sense,and put your weed up,or in a container where little ones can't get it.I mean Seriously,These people leave their pain killers,anti anxiety drugs etc,just laying around too?I bet not.I hope not.Andyou are right about Split Pea Soup,Hell I wouldn't eat Today if it said pea soup on it. LOL

A kid isn't going to just eat a raw bud. It wouldn't make him high, it would make him throw up. Now having cookies and rice krispie treats sitting around is a whole other ballgame.
