No windows

So I'm about to start my first grow. I just need a few things for temperature control. I see a lot that people use their window to help with ventilation. In my room, I don't have a window but I have sliding balcony doors. I doubt that it will work the same as a window. I've bought almost everything I need but I'm afraid I won't be able to grow now because I won't be able to ventilate.

Hi Lia, welcome to the forum. Unless your house/apt is really awesomely sealed up then you should get a fair amount of air exchange without specific venting. i.e. it's possible to grow without venting.
As you mention it will really come down to temperatures. I let my grow get up to the high 80s under LEDs.

What's your ambient temperature range for that room?
What sort of lights are you using?
Are you planning to grow in a tent?

If you own the place you could cut a hole in the glass door or in the exterior wall for venting.

I'm not but sure what ambient temperature range is, but if you mean what temperature is my room most of the time, then it's between 68-77 F. I'm using an LED light and I was going to use a grow tent, but wasn't sure what to do about venting. And I had no idea you could grow without ventilation! It's an apartment

I grow in my apartment too :) I did several cycles of growing before I got my extractor fan and venting. Indeed, I'm nearly 3 years in now and only just got my grow room (/guest room) AC.
I'd guess your light will add about 10 degrees to your regular temps, that takes you to a 78-87 range which is not ideal but wholly doable. As long as your tent doesn't get above 90 and stay there you'll be fine.

You will need to open the vents in your tent, and you'll need a good oscillating fan inside the tent, but you can get by and grow fine without a full extraction fan rig.
You may want to grow low odor strains at first though. One of the key benefits of a full tent ventilation system is that you can add a carbon filter to the outtake to reduce smells.

As a cheap hack you can use a computer fan wired to a "wall wart" power supply to make temporary inflow and outflow fans.

So basically, as long as I keep the temperature in my room under control and get a good fan for the tent, that I should be okay?

For your first few grows I think you will be just fine :)

Down the road you may want a proper exhaust set-up with a carbon filter and a temperature controlled fan speed controller just to help keep your temps in the perfect sweet spot. If there's attic space above the room that would be another option for a venting location.

I just vent the air from my tent out into the room the tent is in. If it gets really warm I'll crack one of the windows open a bit but I don't grow through the hottest part of the year.
