2 different strains, 5 weeks old, growing faster every day, I was thinking 5 more weeks until I start the flowering stage, or should I let them grow until they start to slow?
I think that depends on your grow room space and height. 5 weeks of veg could turn those into small trees. Don't forget, they"ll stretch almost double the height after you flip your light schedule.
Some of my sativas triple in size. You're better off a bit smaller than a too large for the space grow. I think I do better the more manageable the grow and not having to supercrop or worse,
In my size tent, at about 12"-14" is when I make the switch. I'm running an AC Infinity 2x4 with vent system inside the tent. With my GG#4s, I had to top and lst. My Girl Scout Cookies I let go with just topping. More horizontal growth and less vertical growth.
