Need advice

I have a clone that I bought from a shop and I have it outdoors and it's not doing so good. I tried direct sunlight and it burnt the leaves so I now have it in mostly shade only about a hr of light. The new leaves are yellow but I'm only watering it once a day. The night temps here are around 50 degrees and day is around 90 what can I do to get it in better shape and branch out more before the October harvest

How's the pH of your water? I suspect it's not sunburn but pH. Perhaps a nutrient problem. I'm an indoor hydro grower so I can't offer concrete advice but I would start with the pH and work from there. I'm no expert but I think 50 F maybe a bit chilly. Can you bring it in at night? When its more robust/mature it may be able to withstand the temp fluctuation.

It is very hard for a seedling to go from being under inside lighting and then get moved to direct sunlight. You should start giving the plant only morning light for maybe a couple of hours and see how it does and if thing are going well just keep increase the amount of direct sunlight every couple of days till it adjusts.

Also, watering every day is too often. You should let the soil dry out down about an inch or so before watering again.

Direct sun may put a plant down if it is a shock, but the plant will bounce back. These plants love light and just want it increased in stages and not all at one time.
Don't over water
I grow indoors and 65F or below will kill my indoor plants if it happens too often.
give it some nitrogen and get it acclimated to the sun.

🌱 It looks a little droopy so I agree it may be at least partially that you're watering too often, especially for such a tiny plant in such a big pot! How much water are you giving at a time? 🌱
