I was planning on getting a license to grow. I tried last year but licensing was closed early due to a law suit so my lawyer said as long as I registered voluntarily I would be fine. Now a friend says no. She said if I didn't get a license last year I'm ineligible for at least two years. Can someone please confirm whether this is true or not? I just sent the water board a check for $2500. I paid a third party inspector $1500. In addition to many other things I've spent money on that will be a complete waste if this is true. And can I sue my asshole lawyer if so? I'm already done working with her she's so horrible. She has a reputation for getting things done but I can't stand her. And if this turns out it's true I'll want to sue her for leading me astray and taking my money when she knew it was pointless.
