Humidity

Still struggling with humidity spikes. Hurricane Matthew isn't helping. While not in path of Hurricane I am on fringe and getting a lot of rain which is forecasted to continue for a couple of days. I added a DIY rock salt dehumidifier that helps some. My problem is humidity spikes when lights are off (from mid-40's to mid-70's). I keep some fans going 24/7 but not all fans. Will humidity in mid 40's during "daylight" hours (12), with all fans running, dry out mold spores that might take root during "night" hours?

As long as you have airflow I don't think you need to worry. My summer humidity numbers are higher than yours and I've never had a mold problem.

Thanks D. My girl is 30 days into flower and I keep hearing this is a venerable time for mold. I only do single plants for personal use so any setback would put me back on the street for product. I have been spoiled growing my own! 😉
