How long will male 'sperm' continue to exist in my grow tent?

Hi,

This is my first post ever. Excuse me for all my mistakes.

I have a 6x10 grow tent. The current crop has 10 plants in it.
A month ago, I found one of the plants to be a male.
I always hunt for males as early as possible. I missed this one.

I have cut some flowers out of the tent and dissected them.
I have found seeds.

I intend on letting this crop continue to grow.
I am about to start germinating seeds (feminized seeds this time) for the next crop.

My questions:
I don't want the next crop to be fertilized by leftover 'sperm' from this crop.
How long does the airborne male 'sperm' last inside the tent?
How can I clean it out of the tent?
What other questions am I missing?
(sorry for using the word 'sperm'. I know that isn't the word I need.)

Pollen is the word you're looking for. I would wipe the tent down inside and out with a mild disinfectant solution and let it air out a little and you should be good.

Agree with Orggrwr. Even just water should be enough to disable them. Whenever I cull males I first spray down the entire tent, plants, walls, etc. with water. When pollen touches water it'll inactivate them.

If any of the pods open up when I'm pulling them out the water will keep them from pollinating the females.
