Hello All.
I got me some potassium silicate yesterday and Im thinking about adding it to my grow. In my 7th week of flower expecting three to five more weeks.
I have the basic understanding of what it does.
what I would love is for the kind souls @ GWE to tell me there why, when and hows about add this product?
Should I hold off till my next grow?

Morning Mr Furley, Being your almost done with your current grow its hard to say if it would do much good this late , but it sure is not going to hurt anything. But you will sure be able to tell the difference on your next grow . It does wonderful things for your plants , makes em stronger ,protects from bugs.helps em eat better lots of good stuff.
 
It should ideally given to plants when young,as DAAS said u will notice a diff. I got mine on line. Maybe a good hidro store or garden center?
 
I add Protekt- in soil grows- after the second week of veg, through week five of flower.

It made a huge difference and acts as a pHup -
add Si first when mixing nutrients.
 
Thanks everyone for your response:smile:makes sense to use this new product from the start of the grow so I will hold off on what would be just a couple of feedings till my next planned grow.

I picked up Europonics, I have to already phdown a little bit so I will watch that, can I ask do you stop at 5 week before you're flush for some reason or do you flush your plant at 5 weeks?
 
Brand doesn't really matter.
The plant has stopped growing except for buds- so I switch to GH pH UP at that time until harvest.
Also, many recommend it from clone/seed through flower.
