First winter grow in a long time...

Not that I'm looking forward for the next few months but hey I might as well plan for my next grow. Had our first snowfall today and I'm not sure if I will be able cope with it. So it's time to get busy and start a new grow.
 
Kinda know what your saying but it's the rain and no sunshine all forest where my house sits. I'm shaded for nearly 5 months now if not more. Kinda wish we'd logged several big fir trees when we first moved in 30yrs ago LOL just a few to allow sun's movement on my house and yard where the veggie/flower beds are. Don't want to do it now they are so huge and are living homes for the owls i can't cut them.

So i'm with ya on winter hobby grows. I don't need the product but it's a hobby for those cold wet days ahead that will keep me indoors and warm. I'm going back and forth on my 4 photos i'm going to grow but now i'm going to do 4 different strains and throw in a couple folgers autos to boot just fill that 4x4 floor. Not chose the autos yet but heres my photos 1 of each........wedding cake, gorilla glue, zkittles, tie dye all seem to have nearly the same bloom dates. Yep that's what i'm gonna do.
Farmbuck i will toss another log in the woodstove for ya we can get through this winter we got homes :)
 
I am making feminized seed inside this winter, round 1 - Santa Marta Colombian Gold (Mother of Skunk). From 10 seed I want at least 4 females, the more the mirier! All males will be removed unless I get only 1 female from 10 seed. I think I have a good chance of more than 2 females. Also a BB(4?) F4 that came up outside and I rescued from this mornings killing cold, hope shes a girl.
If I get time before spring a round of Black Willie is here (10 seed) and ready to go! And then I wont get time to do the Colombian Purple Haze, LOL.
 
Hi Rwise I read in one of the websites "How to increase your rate of female plants with regular seeds". One of the recommendation was to decrease at the beginning of the grow the # of hours of light. The magic number was 14/10. So I tried it by starting with 10 regular Lebanese strains (I'm talking 2 years ago) and I ended up with 6 females, I guess the ratio was really good. Just a little tip if you want more females.
