Hi, first time grower, first question.
Im growing 1 White Widow auto, I started outside in a small pot, after 26 days I moved to a 3 gallon pot, then after 40 day’s from germination l moved indoors under a cheap LED. To me the plant is growing and quite healthy looking. After 65 days I bought a Mars Hydro TS600 LED, and put it under that.
i have read that the White Widow auto should be ready to harvest around 75 days. Mine is now 67 days since germination, My grow space is 2ft 6 inches x 2ft 6 inches. I will add a couple of photos for someone to tell me does it look okay. I think it is just going into pre-flower, but am unsure if it’s a male or female.
very new to growing and would like other opinions

Wow! Not bad for your first time around. SHE looks very happy and healthy. Hats off to you. Those smaller “sacs” that are starting to swell up with a pistol indicates that she is indeed in preflower. Sounds like the manufacture was just off on the flower time, or they were referring to a flower time of 75 days. I don’t think you did anything wrong from the looks of your plant. Btw I bought the same Mars Hydro a while back. Plants seem to love it.

Thanks Greenlivin for you reply.
I am relieved to know it is a female and healthy.
I think the cheap LED I used was good for the vegetive stage, but wasn’t sure it would help much
if it was going to flower.
it has only been under the Mars for a few days and the extra growth is very noticeable.
Now I will sit back and watch how she performs flowering under the Mars. Any tips on how close to the light she should be?

I think the suggested distance should be something like 18-24 inches for most led lights and I would have to say that from my experience when a breeder gives a time period it’s referring to the flower time not entire time unless otherwise stated

I’ve been playing around with the height and for flower 12” seems best which is what Mars recommends. For early veg I do 20” and later veg I’ll do 18”. Good luck!

I’m back again with another question. I’m not sure if she is still in pre flower, or starting to flower. To me she looks droopy at times, and other times the leaves seem to be reaching out. Still seems to be growing leaves. Anyone with any ideas?

Could it be a photoperiod plant and not an autoflower strain. It's been going for a while like what? Hundred days now? Seems like it would be flowering by now forsure if it was auto. Sometimes the breeding makes an off seed that doesn't grow like it should or the breeder mixes up seeds.

I was thinking it might be photo as well. This morning I found pistils on the top and on the stems at the leaf junctions. I still don’t know if it’s starting to flower or not.. any idea??

What do you have your light set on 12 12? Cause even if it was a photo of you switched it to 12 12 on April 26th when you got confirmation it was a female in preflower she should have done way more by now ......please tell me your lights are 12 12 and be 100% there is no light leaks into your grow even a flashing red led in dark during flower can screw up a plant so make sure it's 12 12 and no light leaks and I'm sure you'll eventually get a harvest cause your doing great at keeping her going

Yeah then I'm going to guess and say it's a photo that's why you haven't started flowing move your other vegging plant to another grow space unless it's an "auto" also then switch to 12 on 12 off and she should start stacking up some nice buds I hope you get her flowered
