few buds with Cloudy Trichomes but no potency?

Hello Everyone


I have picked some buds and aired them out for 4 days to see how potent they are. Trouble is NO potency .How can you have Cloudy Trichomes and no BUZZ?

Are you growing a high cbd and low THC strain?

Are you using a loupe or some kind of magnifier? Also are you viewing under natural lighting? If you are viewing under HPS or LED you might be getting a wrong indication. I usually wait until there are a few amber trichomes before taking a sample. That is like a warning light that it is time to harvest. Of course some strains vary.

You definitely must be seeing the trichomes clearly then. What strain is it ? Maybe it is just a poor performer. About all you can do is keep on a growin. With luck things will improve. I suppose you could try some UV B radiation. Just might get the resin flowing.

frank420. That's unusual what you are experiencing, is it even sticky when you squeeze a bud.
I've grown JockHorror, several times ,and that's some powerful stuff.Imo
Can you post a picture of your bud ?

So curing the buds will bring up the potency a bit and increase the flavor.
Did they dry out too fast possibly?

Me either, the JHs, i grew came from Nirvana, everything I ever grew from Nirvana did fine.
