Controlling humidity

Hi, Im wondering how everyone is controlling their humidity levels? I purchased a dehumidifier which collects a couple ounces of water a day, but my humidity level is still at 55 to 60%, TIA
 
What is your general location and what is your humidity?
I'm in San Diego and can go from single digits during Santa Ana winds to upper 90's in a grow.
Humidity can be an issue but fighting it can be downright frustrating.
 
I drain my unit into a 5gal bucket. It removes roughly 1.5 gal a day bringing my humidity level from 70-75% to 55% during flower. Dry/cure humidity control no longer requires my attention.

I have a couple of dehumidifiers. Both are compressor type. One is rated at around 13gal/day the other at just under 3. The 3 gal on its own helps a little bit, the 13 gal is for late flower and for knocking the RH down in the dry room when I need to.

What I find most important for a good grow is keeping mold away so below 50% mid to late flower and keeping temps down late flower. Low temps in late flower 22 to 23⁰C makes it tough on the dehumidifier to keep RH under 40%. Low temps are more important than ultra low RH in my opinion. I only go below 40% the last 2 weeks of a grow typically.

Below 60% RH with great airflow and below 24⁰C should keep mold away. High temps late in flower is a problem for mold and quality buds.
 
My basement lung room presents both temp and humidity challenges. I pipe dehumidified air into a bottom port and vent through the filter system up top. Seems effective at sweeping out the humidity, and adds some bonus heat in winter. I control humidity in the tent by adjusting dehumidifier and exhaust settings.
 
Most people cannot grow indoors without one. Anything under 7gal/day won't do much for an indoor grow. One you can set the RH low on, 30%, and control via an automation setup is ideal. Automating it requires it to be able to resume functioning same as when power was cut to it which many do not allow for..
 
I use a 50 liter dehu in a 12' x 12' office in my house. I can drop the humidity down to 45% on a good day. I use a refrigerator condensate pump to pump out the condensate but sometimes, if I have to leave for an extended period of time, I'll set up the auto irrigate and have the dehu dump into the reservoir to keep it topped off.
 
Mine struggles to get much below 40% RH at 22⁰C but at 25⁰C it'll go much closer to 30% RH. It has an AC helping it at times though. 50ltr aso
