COCO COIR Coco coir watering technique

For those who grow in coco coir. Do you hand water your grow, or do you set up an automated watering system? Weighing the pros n cons of which way to go.

I hand water because I haven't set anything else up yet. I would like to set something up because sometimes watering can be a hassle with a lot of plants. But then again, I usually check everything while I water, do training, defoliation, etc. So that's my input, hope it helps.

I concur. I do perpetual growing so some plants drink a lot others just a bit. Moving a lot of plants around very day. I would love to automatize but it’s not so simple

I third that..hand water for the same reasons dphipps1020 and @9fingerleaves do. Also, I usually throw 1-2 sativas in each of my grows and they can get a little finicky when it comes to too much nitrogen. So i have to mix their nutes separately.
