CO2 use in seed production

Does anyone know if using co2 in seed production gives a larger amount of seeds or is it just used to obtain bigger buds?

As I read it, it is supposed to increase potency, almost all I read says dont waist your time. You can increase the amount of flowers with a healthy well feed plant.
