Yes this is the third one I've found. All of them I've picked off and killed. But want to know what to use to repeal anymore

I do not know what they are called, but I have seen them also. I recommend using a foliar spray with azadirachtin, like Azamax, all over the leaves. I use the Azamax in my DWC reservoirs as a systemic control for any critter that bites my babies. It takes a little time (squishing is the fastest, most final, and messiest method! lol) for the azadirachtin to work as in interferes with egg and larval development. It also works on a wide variety if insect pests as well.

Omg, I knew when I seen the word "Bug" it would be this little shit! I know what it is...a carpet beetle. I have been finding one every week or two for probably 6 weeks now. I have searched the internet and found all kinds of info on them but not about them being on plants. They eat carpet, cloth furniture, and other stuff and it says they suck plants at one stage in their lives but it's been a while since I read it so I don't remember which.
I tend to like to take my plants out on my front porch...especially when they were smaller and easier to handle I did it a lot and would leave them out in the sun for an hour or two...and the first time I saw this bug on one of them it was out there. I think it came from a bird's nest that was close by in a little pot on the porch. I read that they like to live in old bird's nests and there's lots of them around my house. I like to leave little pots and things for the wrens to nest in. I have almost all leather furniture, ceramic tile throughout the house and no clothes laying around so I don't know what they could be eating in my house but I find one on a plant now and then. They don't seem to do any damage if that helps.

I hope for your sake that you guys never see one again but there's a good chance, especially if you've seen more than one in your house, that they are indeed there but are in the form of unhatched eggs or larva. They stay in cracks & crevices surviving off of small particles of dust, hair, dead skin cell-ewwww they give me the creeps! Yuck! Most likely you won't see them until they become adults and come out to breed and lay eggs. I haven't found any info that they are a threat to weed plants. I think they just suck a little juice from the plants for hydration so unless you had a shit ton of them they wouldn't do any real damage. It's the other stuff in your home you have to worry about if they multiply since the larva eat stuff like furniture, mattresses, clothes, any fabric. One of the best ways to fight them is to vacuum like a mad man!
Sorry if I sound like Negative Nancy lol just thought you guys should know so you have the opportunity to prevent them from spreading if they are there. As you can see from this pic they have a long life cycle & are only adults for a month or two so for up to 325 days of their life you may not see them. Good Luck!
