Auto flowering light period

How long a light period do you use on auto flowering plants? Or is it 24 hours till they flower?

Some use 24-0 or 18-6 or 20-4 those are on and off light times. I run mine 18/6 all the way from 2wks after sprouted. Got it?

I prefer 18/6 for my autos. I've tried 24/0 and believe I got there growth with 18/6. Someone (can't remember who right now) told me that cannabis grows better when the have a rest period.
