1000w LED

Hi guys, I've just changed from HPS to LEDs due to heat and cost. I'm very restricted by height so I'm wondering if it would be better to use 2 1000w LEDs on their side facing each other because my plants are growing to the LED unit and I don't think the results will be as good as they should. Has any body done or tried this and did it work?

Check manufacturer's light specs, as you likely will need about 3 foot space between the LED to the plant initially.

I've seen horizontal grows on the net with HPS bulbs but never LED. The grow I saw was a kind of sea-of-green on its side deal. As Pharma says the distance from canopy would be one of your big challenges.
Rather than facing each other the lights could be back to back centrally (perhaps on a rotisserie) and the pallets of plants arranged in a circle around them.
