Hello!
I just received my first batch of FF nutrients and I need some help understanding the feeding schedule.
The schedule provided by FF instructs me to use a certain amount per gallon of water, this makes sense and I know to use less than instructed in the beginning.
My question is how...
Hi guys,
I'm growing 3 photo plants on coco coir/perlite with CANNA range products. My question is, do you feed them nutes with every watering? Or do you do just calmag pHed water in between nutes feed? I'd love to know your opinions, please, I'm still very green on growing.
Thank you 👊
Hello all. Been reading through the forums but had a few questions I'm hoping you wise, high folks can help with. I'm sure there will be MANY more as I get going but would appreciate any insight so I can have a successful first grow (I hope)! Aiming for 1, maybe 2 plants at a time.
Setup...
I germinated some seeds using the paper towel method. I have now transplanted them into rapid rooters. In the tutorial it said to keep the rapid rooter moist but not too wet. I'm curious how often other growers apply water in this circumstance and if they can share any techniques.
I'm considering getting a pump sprayer to water my cannabis plants. I think it will be convenient to have something that holds a lot of water and has a wand for reaching the plants in the back of the tent. All the adds for these things suggest that they're designed for applying pesticides and...
I just transplanted some seedlings from soil into Coco Coir. Of now the main root structure is still in the soil area and is hopefully branching into the coir. I understand that Coir requires more frequent water than soil, so I'm wondering how much I should water it. Should I water it when the...
Skip if you don’t like measuring water and nutes, but if you do your input would be appreciated.
1st grow, happy frog soil, getting ready to start feeding in week 3 with 2 and 3 gallon containers.
For watering, I’m going to water at 15% of container volume:
1.1 liters of water for a 2...
Hey, newbie here. Day 5 since sprouting. Haven't screwed up that I know of...;)
I bought a pH pen and TDS pen, went thru the calibration process and checked our water. Our hard water was 226 ppm and has a pH of 7; I tested the pH of distilled water is 5.8 and 0 ppm. I bought a plastic 1 gallon...
Seen a lot of over watering in coco posts lately so the question came to mind. I have my method and it works well, but i know my way is not the only way. That said, i have tried many ways and know what doesnt work too. Was hoping to get other experienced coco growers opinion as well. I'll start...
Hello, My normal maintenance nutrient mix measures 358 PPM. (Before balancing the pH).
Nutrient mix:
Mammoth P 1.25mg
Humboldts Secret Golden Tree 1.25mg
Humboldts Secret Base A 3.5mg, B 3.5mg
Then I added pH down solution into my mix and my PPM shot from 358 to 1,190, it went up 883. Just by...
Hello there! I am using 5 gal smart pots in a 5x5 tent and I was wondering what the best way to water them would be? And how much run off do they need?
I had poor germination with my first try of rapid rooters. After a week of no sprouting, I cut them open and each seed had cracked open and a tiny (1 mm) white root was showing. A couple days later they were exactly the same, with no further growth. Not sure if the problem is heat, too much...
I was wondering if anyone had any idea on how often I should feed with nutrients per week rather than give them plain water. I am using Earth juice full line. thanks in advance.
Hey All, GWE has been a great resource for me. . . now that there's a forum, i thought I'd give something back.
This is tools and parts for a ~30 gallon automated watering system for a soil grow. I am going out of town for a week and don't have any plant sitters available. If you have a water...
I started the germination process via seed in the paper towel method. I understand some people have different methods, but this method has always worked for me. On the third day, I opened up the paper towel and noticed the root had popped through the seed a good couple centimeters and I figured...
