I was wondering if anyone has thought of using acrylic fabric medium mixed 2:1 with black acrylic paint to seal light leaks from seams etc. Or does anyone else have any suggestions that would work with minimal effect on appearance of the material itself?

I have done lots of reading on forums on the effects of roots being exposed to light and can not find a straight answer. I see lots of people saying its not okay but with no proof. I am currently growing in clear pots and can see a few roots that made it to the sides. Will these roots be okay...
