Here we grow again ...... lol. But in all seriousness this will be my 6th grow and I will be doing something different. Normally I would grow with soil or coco but I have decided that Top Fed DWC is the way to go this time.
Also I am going to be testing a new line of nutrients - Cutting Edge...
So Ive gone through 2 grows and both times used brand new FFOF soil (Conveniently acquired from my local nursery for $20 a bag for the large bag).
I am going to take a break for the season but a family member wants to start their first grow. They are on a very limited budget and will be using...
Your doing good so far. Can't help too much with lights as I went with LED and they are very different from what you have, but for future reference LED are great for closet grows as they put off very little heat and good for small spaces.

I recently got a couple bricks of coco-coir as a gift from my wife (she loves getting me new grow stuff :)) and I'm thinking of mixing it with some of my Fox Farms Ocean Forest (should help with getting plenty of water and air to the roots) and I was wondering about how that would affect...
These brown spots just appeared today. As you can see in the pics they resemble maybe Nitrogen deficiency. Any help is appreciated.

Using Fox Farms Ocean Farm Soil and
Fox Farms Grow Big Nutrients
Using 1000w LED at 18.5 inches away
Last watering was at 6.0ph...
