This plant has had yellow on the leaves almost since seedling (it's still very young.) Gets same nutes as the others but it is a different strain. Calcium? Feeding them flora nova grow.
What's everyone using for WPM that is non oily? That works. I'm concerned about the ill effects of oil on the trichs. Lots of hard buds on the plants. TIA.
I started with good intentions to follow the detailed instructions on how to get a Lb per plant but quickly lost control of the plant. Had a few things pop up and the plant grew so fast I lost it. I am going to clean up the bottom a bit. It's a Gelat-OG from seedsman. It takes up half of my...
I want to do a post harvest rinse for WPM. Checking online I've seen a whole range of numbers. Anyone used high concentrations of peroxide for a post harvest dip? I suppose I could dip a branch in pure 3% solution and see what happens.
Anybody try both sterile and a more "live" reservoir? Unless there is some reason not to it sure seems like sterile is the way to go. Any experience with both methods?
I'm think of using copper tube as a heat exchanger in a DWC 5 gallon bucket. I know Cu is a fungicide. I'm not sure whether it's suitable for this application. Thoughts? Experience?
Has anyone did this yet? It's kind of a pain to adjust the drivers as is. Experiences with and without an external dimmer for these as well as the Spider farmer SF-2000 250 Watt light? Thanks
How many have used green lights to work in grow area/room/tent during the 12 off period of flower? I'm especially interested in those that have done it over multiple grows or long term. Per recommendations here I picked up a little green led headlight and it works but I'd like to know if anybody...
I've read that leaving plants in the dark just before harvest causes them to get desperate for pollination and kick out the resin. Does anybody slowly taper lighting for 1-2 weeks prior to harvest in a quest for higher potency?
I have a scrog going and I noticed 1 area hit pretty hard with powder mildew. I decided to just cut the entire area out rather than mess with it. I've removed the leaves that are readily visible and now have a bunch of flower that doesn't appear to be badly affected but I'm sure there are spores...
Some if not all of the plants in my 4x8 were molested by a hermie. I decided to just ride it out and mature them and then decide what to do with them. I have no doubt the smoke will be good. I just snipped this bud off for a seed check. That's a full sized dinner plate.
I f I take, in this case Coco-Loco, and flush it with ph'd water till run-off reads let's say 400ppm. Will it naturally regenerate some nutrients as decomposition occurs?
I don't see a web pattern but more of a fuzzy appearance. Hard to get a good photo. Easy to see with the naked eye. Is the the beginning of bud rot? Spider mites? No rotten veg material. I've increased airflow but unfortunately I just fed them. I'll probably cut off any bud that exhibits this...
The one on the left is a tangerine dream and on the right is a amnesia haze. Theirs has been a rough life. Coco-loco with too many nutes too soon. Nute burn, lockout, too much light. There are a ton of brown pistils beneath the white ones still showing on the AH. The TD has foxtail nodules all...
Most if not all the lights I've had say you can run them at 100-240 volts. Anybody running at 220V? Seems like you'd be able to run 2 hot wires and a ground to your standard outlet get 220volts and enjoy some cost savings. Anyone doing this at the moment? I am expecting some interesting...
Is there a color of light that can be used to light up a flowering grow room so that one can go in and work on plants equipment or whatever. Something that allows you to see but does not disrupt the dark cycle?
So, if plants near maturity or even if they are not, when foxtailing does occur the trichs on it are clear. Seems like you'd just be chasing your tail waiting for amber on foxtails. Almost all of my autos have foxtails now. I'm tempted to just harvest them and see what it's like. What's everyone...
Trimming some autos today and noticed this. At a distance it looks like a pollen sac but not sure. I've got plants in the same room I use for drying so I'm wondering if I should be concerned about possible pollination of my photos. Not sure if these are pollen sacs. With trichs on them?
