I have some outdoor autos going now about 1 week in 5 gallon soil. I get a little more than 10 hours sunlight now. I am thinking about putting them under some kind of light at night and keeping them outdoors. I have no room in the house and wife says no way. I have a carport to hang lights from...
Seedsman is having a bogo sale. There website is horrible and no way to take advantage of sale. I have tried to buy seeds from them several times before with no success. Was never able to complete the order. I had given up on them but saw this sale. As usual I was not able to complete my order...
Last time I posted this I did not state that I plan to make bubble hash not dry ice hash. I have at least 2 pounds popcorn buds for hash making. I would like to not trim all this as it is very much work and time. Is there a reason I should go to the trouble of trimming before the hash making...
I got a bunch of popcorn buds I will use for hash. Do you trim your buds or just use them as is? I might have a whole plant that is not good enough for bud smoke. Do you trim it? If so how much?
These damn bud borers/ bud worms /caterpillars are starting to do some real damage. Before sunrise I find most of them. 2 kinds so far. A green caterpillar thing and an inch worm. Most of the inch worms I find already dead sucked dry by something while in bud. The green ones I find inside and...
I search my plants about 10 times a day looking for bud borers and other little nasties. I find several everyday but I find many places where they are gone already leaving some damage but not much compared to what I have seen they can do. I think something is killing them before I can. Found one...
I have found 2 kinds of bud borers so far. I have maybe 100 kinds of butterflies flying around. I try to smash everyone I find on plants. I examine the buds maybe 10 times a day searching for these bastards. I have trained my eye to spot small bad colored spots on buds. Then I dig into that bud...
There are leaves turning yellow on several plants. Only large older leaves but change color very rapid. Starts at bottom and moves up.Thought it was root aphid return at first. Treated for ra for about 10 days. There are no visible root aphids at this time and I am convinced they are not return...
We are getting another thunderstorm. I have always said "Never curse the rain in the desert." but c'mon 16 inches so far this monsoon is about enough. Let yall know how this one turns out.
Went down to town to get some beer before big storm. Had fender bender at only intersection. We had everything settled when beurocrat from department transpo drove by. Had badge and gun. Asked if leos called. No, no need we got it handled. Give me your dl. Ok you got gun. He calls leos. I tell...
Big storm today. 50mph. winds, hail. Both my wild thai were blown over, pot and all. did not expect that. Learned a lesson. Pole meant to keep wild thai straight fell into the Deli friend and damaged it. Overall I think I was pretty lucky. Beforenext storm they all go under cover and tied to...
I kept thinking the top of this plant looked strange. I took a close look this morning and saw this. This plant has not been topped. There is a leaf growing where stem should be and then went double like it was topped. This is a Panama X Malawi from Ace seeds.
I found these as the sun came up. Never seen them before. There are lots of them. I think they might be fungus gnat larvae. We have had over 12 inches rain this month and that is what we get in a year lately. Please help to indentify. Outdoor grow soil.
This is a six week old pinapple chunk. Big storm did damage. Can she be saved ? Any Ideas? Second pic from same storm wild thai 3 months did fine home bread six week sativa behind. Propped her up and she will be fine.
I had this sativa in a 15 gallon transplanter pot. It has velcro on 2 sides and works great. I put it in a 45 gallon pot. Not one wilted leaf. Very easy transplant with no damage. Hoping for 2 pounds off this plant come late November.
I usually don't grow autos. This one was sent by mistake. The plant has leaves turning yellow. I thought this was the usual case of root aphids as the symptoms are exactly like root aphid problems. Yellowing leaves starting on inside bottom and working their way up and out. It is too late to...
While watering yesterday morning about 6 I cut this branch. It was on bottom of plant hanging in the soil in the way. Very nice branch so I stuck it in a jar of water and forgot it. It sat in direct sun all day long with high temp 108. I found it right after sunset and it looked completely dead...
I was looking for root aphids this morning and found hordes of spring tails. Short google search produced varied info but little help. Some sites say they are no problem others say big problem. How do I kill these things? Do I need to?
My big baby got snake bit last evening on property patrol. He was out doing his evening rounds of the property and he came back snake bit. Fang marks about 2" apart so snake probably about 5- 6 feet long Diamondback. Thought he was snake trained but he prbly never seen one so big. He spent the...
