I used the info at this link and some vids on youtube. I was surprised at how much can be reused. Really don't lose much during the process. Yes, coco is easier to shake from the roots.

I've tried using a few different brands of coco. I have shied away from the brick because of the mess as @Ckbrew mentioned. I use a 5050 blend of coco/perlite in 5 gallon cloth pots. I grow using the autopot system with a reservoir. I have mixed my own blend every time. If you do your own mix...
I saved my scissor hash from a harvest a few days ago but might have been stoned during the trim and misplaced it when I was done. I hope it's in one of the jars. :)
If not, we'll try again next time.
Using two different grow mediums in the autopot system that draw from the same reservoir would be difficult at best because the PH requirements for soil and coco are different. That difference cannot be managed using a reservoir. Soil PH range is about 6.2 - 6.8. For coco it's 5.8 - 6.2. If...
I started off in soil and switched to coco/perlite when I began using the autopot system. I was chasing yields but now am after quality. As @Allotrope1000 has stated I also like the control that coco gives. I know exactly what the plants get and when they get it. And I like that coco is...
I started off with Gorilla Grow tents. I've stuck with them. My first setups were the Gorilla tent and other equipment by various manufacturers. I started off with HLG lamps and have stuck with them. Somewhere along the way I tried an AC Infinity product. I've switched the tent ventilation...
I cannot begin to imagine what it means to deal with a sore on the butt that requires 11 days in bed. Dang dude welcome back!
Your plants are looking good. Give yourself some credit. Diligence is paying off.
The runoff PH is not an issue with your coco/perlite grow medium. I would not worry...
I just dried a harvest with temps at 70F and RH 52. It took about 5 days...maybe coulda gone one more day. If you cannot achieve the 60/60 guide, don't sweat it. Roll with what you have. I cannot achieve the 60/60 standard with my setup I had the exhaust fan on the lowest setting in the grow...
Hello @Bowii It's your call of course, but those trichomes look ready to harvest IMHO. A couple of questions. Are those pics of sugar leaves or the buds themselves? Do you have a plan to harvest and cure? That includes an assessment of your drying environment. How are the temps and humidity...
Buds are curing. They dried at 70 F 55% RH for five days. They were hung in the tent lights off with the exhaust fan set to run 24/7 at the lowest setting.
Yield 9.70 ounces. The plant with the biggest buds had 3.85 ounces and the other had 5.85. Next up Golden Tiger
Sorry about the BR. I lost a whole indoor harvest because I cross contaminated as I was jarring everything up. I only thought I understood botrytis, but it took me to school.
