The bud is dried and cured properly for 4 weeks with 62% humidity and Boveda packs added, next -to be placed in long term storage- ie more than 6 months.
How often do you "burp" cured cannabis once in long term storage?
Do you have to burp them at all?
I would agree with your wife and let it run until week #3 and then you can defoliate to all you want to and you will have a better idea of what to do and how much.
Here is a pic of an autoflower I recently defoliated @ week #3.
The last crop of photo's are being harvested and the tent is now full of autoflowers-1/2 the tent (#3 plants) will be ready for harvest - every month and replaced with 1 month old plants.
The perpetual autoflower grow is now on auto pilot-
Harvest a plant- start another.
I started Nov 1 crop three days early, as I am unsure of my winter plans past January 1.
I will be planting only 2 per month and see if a less crowded tent is more effecient.
These are Auto (Royal) Critical +
*fast 9wks total @30"-165 g per plant of large, dense buds-Nirvana
When last months...
Sheesh - here is a different, photo strain we harvested this morning in an inverted tomato cage.
Only 3 more photo plants left in the "flower" tent- then I can kick the lights up to 20/4 for the auto's.
I'm planning on keeping a new mother plant for at least 6 months. It's currently a few inch tall clone.
I have always just let them grow and kept topping them.
Considering doing an LST around the container and then topping those, to get clones.
How do others train their mother plants? (or not).
Day #22 above ground & topped:
All dressed/caged up and no place to go (the other tent is full).
The fabric WW is showing white hairs- the others aren't far behind.
Jan-18 crop= 2 x WW and 1 lemon haze- Auto's under 390 LED watts @ 20/4
DAY #18 topside- plants are doing well, healthy- so I topped them.
They are about 6" tall and all topped at the 6th node.
Nutrient schedule changes to Roots Organic Original (amended) along with minerals when watering...
Transplanted- the right hand two at day #11 and the one on the left at Day #13 (today) above ground- water/fed Nebula's GH for auto's-LED @20/4
They will be topped and placed in tomato cages, this time, as I am doing a head to head with AF WW nursery container vs fabric!
I neeed to let these...
It's TIME- to begin the dial in:
Make room in the flower tent with 4 photo's left to finish:
Prepare Auto flowers from Sept 1 planting :
Add the 3 autoflowering plants on the left :
The DIAL IN is half way there- these autos will be getting 12/12 (at a much higher wattage) for the next 4 weeks.
Oct 1- getting ready for the next set for the dial into perpetual grow tent.
Oct batch is 1 Lemon OG Haze and 2 White Widow-
And it starts all over again- planting seeds on the first of each month- and transfereing month old plants as room is available in the larger tent, which is finishing...
September 19- Jack Herer- one day after Kelp foliar spray:
Roots extreme serene .25ml60ml and light foliar feed, try and correct - top yellow leaves- not sure if its a virus/overwater manifesting as Fe deficiency- same issue last time with decent end results.
Mazar is the runt at this point...
September 16 (is day 16 from seed & day 13 above ground)- and the transplanting begins- going from 1 gal coco/perlite to 3 gal Roots Organic Original-
OGRE-
Organic feeding schedule with minerals.
the rest were transplanted over the next few days- a little early, but I wanted to make certain...
