    HYDRO Project Murcott

Tenth week of veg may just be the last! I only had to water during the week and this is feeling too easy. Today was the big work day of the week and I put my Cannabenders back to work too. Lavender and a few of the Tangies are sporting them. They're the orange curved plastic bits. You tie your...

    HYDRO Project Deuxberry

Week 9 of veg is it for Deuxberry. I've defoliated and tied them up and flipped the timer to 12/12. The timing is mostly because of the largest one - she is threatening to go through the roof waiting for the others to catch up. Before: Afterweirds: There are no clear signs of male...

    HYDRO Project Murcott

At week 9 of veg, I for once took before and after pics on a defoliation day. Before: After: I even topped the one at center that I thought was dead at one point. I also got the rare privilege of defoliating a triple-noded plant. Thank Jah the nodes go back to pairs on the branches away...

    HYDRO Project Murcott

This is my Tangie I pulled from Murcott. I think I got lucky here!

    HYDRO Project Murcott

Week 8 of veg finds them all looking great. Their "boarders" will likely have to leave in another 2-3 weeks, maybe less. They all got a top dressing of mycorrhizae this weekend for a little boost along with their feeding. They all continue to impress with their rebound from root rot. All but the...

    HYDRO Project Deuxberry

It's week 8 of veg for the Blueberries (week 2 of flower for the one that moved out!). The coco/worm castings/perlite mix combined with the hydro nutes is making them grow like badasses. I intend to try using slow-release fertilizer some day but right now I have too much of my old nutes in stock...

    HYDRO Project Murcott

Week friggin' seven of veg and the tent looks very different: The three at left are from top: Lavender, GSC, PPD. PPD has topped itself young and I will stake it out and tie it by next weekend. The rest in the handled pots are the six Tangies that survived the hydro mess. The big ones that were...

    HYDRO Project Deuxberry

Week 7(!) of veg and this project is finally taking off. I've moved the tallest Blueberry to the 4x4 flower tent where the autos are finishing (but not fast enough for my tastes). The smaller ones are now in three gallon pots to finish out their lives in. I've invested in a bag of worm castings...

    HYDRO Project Murcott

Friday update: one of the stressed Tangies moved from hydro is making triplet nodes now. Everybody in this project survived the move and I still can't believe it. I will absolutely move the bigger plants from this project next door to flower out this weekend as well as some doing some...

I discovered something important while purging my seedbank.

I've got a fair stash of seed, some of it purchased as far back as 2017 and some homegrown this year, plus a whole bunch gotten from sales in between. I've been trying a mix of the oldest (ILGM stuff) and newest feminized seed to get seedlings ready to go when the new 4x4 tent is empty again...

    HYDRO Project Deuxberry

Week 6 of veg and they continue to thrive! I will repot the smallest three soonish. I am also considering moving one of the big ones to the new 4x4 tent to flower out. I just jarred up the recent harvest from that tent and this is the first time in forever that the grow room wasn't absolutely dank.

    HYDRO Project Murcott

Week 6 of veg and somehow all eight plants are still alive. I have four autos close to finishing next door and I'm thinking I should put the biggerest Tangie and the Kosher Kush plus a Blueberry in there with them to flower out. I could still try the Kosher Tangie cross later if I save Tangie...

    COCO COIR Bonus weed!

Epilogue: Instead of screwing around with firecrackers, I spent part of my Fourth trimming bud in my parlor. It took ten jars to hold all of this Purple Haze from just four short plants! Oh yes, the whole house smells like gas now.

    HYDRO Project Deuxberry

Week 5 of veg came with just a routine feed for the Blueberries. My optimism was not in vain because they are starting to take off. I even got to top one of the bigger ones. I expect to put the smaller ones into full size pots next weekend. [pic later when iCloud allows]

    COCO COIR Bonus weed!

Yesterday, I cut down four short but stupidly productive Purple Haze (ILGM) plants. They are cuttings from the PH mom I flowered out months ago (the one that actually turned purple). Mom was too big for the tent I was using so I cut her back and couldn't bear to waste the cuttings, so I rooted...

    HYDRO Project Deuxberry

Week four(?) is underway. I've lost the Blueberry that I feared I would but I can definitely make it work with five Blueberries. The ones in coco are getting close to being topped, even. I'm hoping to get the other three out of the one gallon pots I put them in provisionally by next weekend...

    HYDRO Project Murcott

Week 4 of veg and all six Tangies in hydro continue to bounce back. I've still had to scour and strain out crap yesterday at feeding and today I went a bit deeper today, cleaning the airstones and pump filter once again before another peroxide treatment. I've topped the two in coco, and it looks...

    Should I cut some leaves?

Bud rot almost always gives itself away with sugar leaves dying at the infestation spot. Here's a pic of my Pink Kush CBD auto from this morning for an extreme example of colored bud.

HYDRO Ever tangle with a pathogen in hydro you just can't shake?

This is one of the airstones from Project Deuxberry. All the Blueberries were moved to coco this evening in hopes of saving at least half of them. The Tangies in Project Murcott will be moved after I can get another block of coco.

    HYDRO Project Deuxberry

As of right now, Deuxberry is an all-coco grow. I moved the one under the seedling dome to a solo cup and the healthier ones to one gallon fabric pots. They've all been given a fresh feed fortified with House & Garden Root Excelulator to hopefully spark some fresh growth. Murcott will be done...
