Today was haircut day for eight of the new batch!
Two more were added after the extra Cloud Walker and the G-13 were repotted. Here's the BC Mangos for Project Ambika:
It seems using the 3-3-3 in big cell pots without reamending caused some nitrogen deficiencies. The new growth after...
The G-13 and the extra Cloud Walker were transplanted this morning and now all of the batch of seeds sprouted in DTE are in their 1.5 gallon pots except for Romulan.
Here's the veg tent after the larger ones got their first cut for manifolding:
I did notice some nitrogen deficiency in the...
Without further delay, here's the temporarily crowded veg tent:
All the transplanted ones are still happy. I even got away with transplanting a Cheese Auto and a Magnum Auto at bottom right corner. The rest are BC Mango (center three plus bottom left corner), Cloud Walker (bottom left near...
GSC and PPD are getting close to chop.
Here's the rest of the tent from this morning.
I like the purpling I'm already seeing in those two. I've put them on the do-not-feed list. Lavender is only just fattening up and starting to smell.
I've transplanted all but three of the seedlings. I...
Here's the veg tent as of this morning.
Purple Kush at center is now burnt from high pH. Even a few feeds later of the Soul nutes at 5.5, I'm still getting pH readings above 6.0 in spots. I took much of the dead stuff off Alien Tech and Peyote Z--z. Their pots were light this morning so at...
In week ten, not much looks different except for the Super Lemon Haze I moved in.
The big one in the corner got a little too dried-out for comfort and was pouting this morning. I've taken all my plants off Megacrop indefinitely and will finish these last few weeks on Soul again. Two of the...
All right. I'm home and sober for the moment, so here's what the Tangie tent looks like now. The one at front left is the Super Lemon Haze that outgrew everyone else in veg.
Here's one of the Tangie buds just to show off the frost.
I finally got off my ass and brewed a compost tea from a...
It looks like a potassium deficiency. Try using half strength nutes or a PK booster for flower if you have any. If you have an EC or TDS meter, feed according to recommended strength for your plants' phase of growth. At early flower, I tend to feed at 1.4 EC and raise it to 1.8 by week 6 of flower.
At week 8 of flower, I've kicked out the boarders now that the 3x3 tent Deuxberry was in has been emptied out. And then I added one more just because. Well, because my Super Lemon Haze from the veg tent needed to be flipped right now. I'm only just starting to see milky trichs in the Tangies...
I spent Saturday getting the seeds out of the buds then realizing that I seriously need a seed separator.
This is the bag before Saturday! It's nearly half full but there are so many dead seeds and bits of vegetable matter in there now. It's likely that I will have a little under a thousand...
It is week 7 of flower and the Tangies are growing out as though they weren't pollinated. It may have been too early to get the kind of seed yield I got from Deuxberry or maybe Tangie just gets frosty in flower regardless. We are hours away from a cool front and lower humidity and that will be a...
As I said in the comment above, you really need to water to runoff with Megacrop when you're in veg. And use your goshdarned pH meter now that you got it. Peyote Z---z and Alien Technology got a case of nute lockout from the soil pH going too high. The other four in veg were probably headed for...
It sounds like a monster movie, doesn't it?
I have been looking to start growing in coco with dry amendments a la Mr. C on YouTube. I visited a few grow shops around here before getting tired and frustrated at no one having the right Down-To-Earth mixes in stock. The guy at the last shop was...
Six plants got cut yesterday!
All tents were emptied and wiped down at some point and the produce is drying in the 3x3 where Deuxberry was. I took the BBs down first. After I cut up the unpollinated one to dry, I had a hankering for a big-ass bowl of Boo-Berry. KK has ripe seed showing in...
I did indeed chop this weekend. I thought I might be too soon but ripe seeds are falling out of the buds already after one day of drying. I have about a hundred already collected.

After:
You can't really see much of the produce from this tent because they are on the top rack for the...
This is how insanely heavy the colas were on Kosher Kush. Yesterday, when I was cutting it down and putting it in the drying rack it seemed every other bud that came off had ripe seeds sticking out. This cross had better be worth it. Luckily, KK still seemed potent enough. I only got to smell KK...
I went ahead and added the worm castings today. Look what I found when I was watering them in -
Remember how I said the tent was radioactive when the males were flowering? Now I have a mutant to prove it.
A little midweek bud porn!
Blueberry
Tangie
Kosher Kush
PPD
I love how PPD is growing out purple and frosty at four weeks.
If you look closely at Kosher Kush, you can see finished Blueberry Kolache seeds peeking out from the cola. I got more than I bargained for when the fan swept...
Week 7 in Deuxberry is here and this project is finally nearing an end. I'll feed them one last time next weekend and wait for them to flush out for chop day.
Here's a close-up of one of the expectant mothers:
I'm tempted to move these girls in with Tangie so I can use this tent to veg out...
