Freaking bird broke off the top of one of my colas this morning. Why couldn't it have picked one that was closer to harvest! Oh well, one of the many joys of growing outdoors I suppose.
Here's some pics of my Kush gal and the dude I pollenated her with. I've been trying to get close to the good ol' Purple (Hindu) Kush from back in the early 80's. Good luck with yours!
The definitive answer IMHO. Club Modiano made the best ungummed rice papers. Same size as a ZZ Kut Corners. Unfortunately they closed, and you can only find old stock from collectors. You have to lick the very edge and then tear that part off, so when rolled, the rough end would naturally...
Rwise, here's follow up pics relating to my earlier post, Photo #1. It had been suggested that it was rejuvenating, but that's just they way it starts to flower. Consistently like this each year. Funkiest buds I've ever seen, but I'm not complaining. Like smoking hash.
I agree, plant looks healthy enough. I'd worry if the smaller upper and bud site leaves were yellowing. Here's one of mine that has been yellowing for a couple of weeks now. Same notes, soil, watering, sun etc as all the rest. Probably just genetics. She's about done so I'm not worried at all.
Well after 3 weeks of it not doing anything, not even growing taller, I cut it off. Just got tired of looking at it. Got plenty to keep me busy. End of that story! Thanks all!
No cold weather for us, it's been 90-108 for this whole month. Have to water my gals 2-3 times a day! This year I tried some defoliating on a few for the first time. Usually I just wait until leaves turn yellow and drop, only trimming off the large leaves just before harvesting branches as...
I have one plant that isn't flowering at the very top. Never seen this before. Rest of the plant is packing buds nicely at every point. Any ideas on this? The plant was never topped, I only trained the branches to promote growth. Thanks!
Hello,
I know that MANY of you have success with cloning cuttings :D. I have an old (10 years and still half full!) bottle of rooting hormone powder that I used to have intermittent success with. Lately not so much! Could be old or? What would be a good gel to use and a powder as I've read...
Sleepyfish. Here are a few of my gals, some on the deck, some on the top of the wall on the hillside. Most of these are now 6 footers. Luckily so are the tomato plants!
How do you folks get your grow setups and remarks, words of wisdom etc., to show up under your posts? I see lots of info that I assume isn't added each time you post. Thanks!
Hello Mr.furley. Question for you. These plants are well branched and I have tied the tops down to see if the bud sites below will better develop. Would tying down each subsequent branch, which should promote each site on that branch to better develop larger buds, be supercropping? (I...
More sparkly eye candy. When my friends ask why I keep so much leaf on my trimmed buds instead of shaving it all off like the dispensaries do, I say shut up and smoke.
I was referred to the product Captain Jacks by a poster on this site for helping with bud caterpillars and was wondering how to apply it. There are no clear instructions on the spray bottle re cannabis. Some plants are in full flower and some are in veg but starting to flower. I am hoping to...
