Day 82 - I was unable to tend the plant for several days but I am back. Dumped a gallon of pHed water on it last night and was greeted by a pleasant aroma this morning. Very little green left in the leaves but the buds look good.
Day 73 - I guess this is as tall as it gets. 11.5 inches. Including trivet, 5 gal bag, 18" to the light and add on the light thickness then the total stack height is 44 inches... Although I have more space I think this grow would have worked on a 2x2x4' tent. Most of the pistals are golden but...
Map is kind of clunky but shows, for example, that I need my crop to finish in September.

Starting week 10 - I've done some light defoliation of fan leaves growing toward the center.
She's filling out, juicy and stinky.
clearly, not ready.
maybe three.

9 weeks - some plants are done in 9 weeks but this one is supposed to go 12-14. That would be great as she has 7 inch colas but they aren't thick yet. Introducing Canna-Cam. Image is horrible but it's a real time video feed. When you're stoned it's kind of fun to watch your marijuana grow when...
I scored some Everclear* so have been reading instructions for making sublingual tincture. One thing I read a lot was how it burns, that people can't stand the taste and other bad things. I started with tincture from the dispensary back when and that didn't burn at all. Maybe it was glycerine...
Day 54 - She has a fairly flat canopy from the LST. Still pushing branches away from center to let the light in. Trying to end what looks like a calcium deficiency.
Seems that I always have plant problems starting when I start giving bloom nutes. I think I'm getting along with using half nutes but should I be giving the full dose of cal-mag instead of half? What's "normal" for Cal-mag? I'm seeing little brown spots on the leaves and I was running the pH...
Day 50 - Starting week 8, Catalog suggests 5 or 6 more. Little difference except now there are trichomes on the tiny sugar leaves. Seeing some spots on leaves, gave a little more Cal-Mag. Think my pH was too low so raised that a bit, now 6.3
Day 47 - LST project is 10" tall and forming buds... seems a few inches shorter than last try but this is a different flavor (and leaves look better.) Looks like it has some catching up to do.
Prior LST (on right) gave over 5 ounces. Here it is at about the same age. Colas are more developed.
Wrapping up week 7. Adding 1/4 bloom nutes every other water, 1/2 cal mag on the other. Now 10" tall and making buds. Some shaded leaves are yellowing. I'll take them out.
Finally, the $20 daisy chain accessory used to connect two or more lights is in stock. I connected two and now have a 300 watt light for less than $100. (Current sale price would be $120, list (who pays list?) would be $240.)
The lights come on two versions. The daisy chain kit isn't needed to...
Day 42 - Grew three inches in three days, now 9 inches tall. I don't think I mentioned that the sticks only need to be in place for a few days before the branches hold shape. Good thing the sticks are reusable. I'm still nudging branches to make light for slower growth. Baby needed watering...
"[Plants] make more sounds when thirsty or under other kinds of stress."
Research paper claims the ultrasonic sounds can be detected in a greenhouse setting.

I've read Durban Poison was no/low smell and I found what looks like a good sale. (No affiliation other than happy customer.) That's really the only complaint I get for growing in home... son says smell gives him headaches. Any first hand advice about that DP? I've never smoked it and don't...
Day 39 - Starting to look hungry so I gave her a little bit. Still nudging the tallest branches down. I'll get a real measurement soon but estimate she's about six inches tall.
