Not sure how I'm liking watering this soil. When trying to water from the bottom, it takes pretty long to absorb. Around 45minutes-1hour. When watering from the top, the water puddles up on top and very slowly absorbs through the soil. Even then I feel like some droplets just bounce off the soil...
Forgot to add that I've changed the conditions inside the tents for the better I think.
Working to keep that RH% around 40-50% my little 1.5 gallon humidifier couldnt get it past 30% so I added in my 5 gallon bucket swamp cooler and its help out enormously.
Alright, day 13 here for the WW.
Pot is super heavy still after that massive watering but she seems to be doing fine. I feel shes a little behind where my other autos were at day 13 but not by much.
Temps 70-78°F RH 60%.
Day 36 for the Lemon OG. Getting her flower stretch going. I haven't done any defoliation or tied her down much after she hit the edge of the pot. I have decided I'm going to add a bloom booster(Fox Farm big bloom) along with calmag and see how she takes it. First watering with it, at full...
Realised with how o had it only the sides were wicking up the water. Added a shallow cooling rack(again from the wifes kitchen lol) and set the plant on top of that. Filled with water to just below the rack/base of the pot(this water shouldn't get absorbed so not counting it), then measured...
This soil dries out super quick. Found something that may work for the bottom watering so giving it a shot. A little over 1/2 gallon going in from the bottom. Gonna check it every 10 minutes or so and see how long it takes to absorb.
The wifes probably fed up with me stealing things from the...
Did some rearranging in the tent to free up some space for more pots and the new genetics on the way. Idk why I didnt just set it up like this before..WAAAYYY more space. And it looks cleaner lol
So we're at 9 days from sprout. Doesnt look like I hurt her to much with the drunken transplant. Watered 1/3 gallon today and got runoff out of the bottom? Might have to water this soil less but more frequently.
Time for an actual update.
Day 62 for the OGK. Just watered 1 gallon with 5ml of calmag. A few hairs are starting to darken and curl. Took a few extra pics to show each side of the plant. Wish she was putting out more trichomes but there's still time. I'm thinking shes got 2-3 more weeks...
She seems to be chugging along. Just watered 1/3 of a gallon today no additives or PH testing.
Also hoping I wont need sand this time? Haven't seen a single gnat. Could be I've finally learned how to water correctly or the cold ass weather, who knows.
Temps are staying mid 70s and RH is 60%.
Just a couple boredom pics.
Trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with them for Thanksgiving as we're hosting the family this year. Most of the older generation is completely against this plant and even though it's legal, and my house I'll still respect that.
Seedling tent was easy to move...
Went out drinking last night and woke up to a transplanted seedling. So starts day 1 in the Sohum.
Looks like I did alright, soils damp not soaked. Wont know if I hurt the roots or not for a couple days so we wait and see.
OGK was fed this morning with 5ml of calmag in 1 gallon of water. Also did a decent defoliation, should be the last one I do. She's putting on some trichomes. Happy to see that.
Lemon OG is starting to pick back up I'm growth. She finally stalled for a couple days after that topping...
So to be honest i have no idea what I'm doing with this starter plug...
Seems to be stretching more than I'd like so I took it out of the dome and closer to the lights. Conditions now are 82°F and 60%RH. Repurposed the top of the wifes creamer bottle and blacked it out so the roots are...
Hello GWE!
I'm going to be trying out another water only soil for my autos. I have been using Roots Organic Original over Kind Soil and I've been happy with the results so far. My first harvest is around 3 weeks away. With that being said, it's fairly expensive and doesnt store well for very...
I cant speak to it yet, but I was thinking the same thing!
My order came today (5 minutes ago) and my WW auto will be going in as soon as the roots are out of the plug.
