It is always something. Plants are back to being healthy and getting that big growth spurt in the stretch (after the pH issues)
Then ... the timer decides it is going to send me notification that it has turned off the ballast for the 12/12 when in reality it kept letting power pass through...
Well the MH bulb died so I took it as a sign. I put n the HPS and flipped to 12/12.
They were on the rebound but I had not built the manifold. Just going to defole and let them bud. Still have not positively ID'd any males but will know for sure very soon.
Getting some concerning yellowing on the older growth. I have seen the fan leaves die early before when building the base of the manifold but this is different I think. All of them are reacting on the same exact way. I have been eyeballing the pH down so maybe I am off. Will test tomorrow...
One good feeding and they are growing fast again. Got one showing brown spots. Unfortunately a Lemon OG which was a feminized seed and so should be a girl. Same food, soil, light, ph'd water, Rh etc. Not sure why just the one is in some distress.
Got a good little crop going so far. I am starting to think I may have a bunch of girls on my hands. Going to try and see if they are old enough to sex looking at the pre-flowers near the growth tips: https://www.growweedeasy.com/preflowers
We'll see how it goes. I need to get the manifolds...
The runts had some decent roots so rather than destroy them we'll see how they do. Managed to get al 10 transplanted into 3 gal pts for the rest of the grow. We'll see how many females I get out of the regular Skunk seeds
Good roots here
Even the runty one had some roots
They took a big...
Here's my version of that build. With this many turns and the venting off the hood I am not worried about light leak. Also with the exhaust through the blower it will block the light. Exit through the top of the tent to get the right light prevention. I still get a massive draw and find no...
30 hours later - 10 beans / 10 sprouts
I lowered the lights because they looked a little stretchy. Now the temps are up. Is there an upper limit for the seedlings for temps I want to avoid? They seem to love the hot and moist air to a degree.
Here is the sensor data from inside the...
Off to a good start. All ten beans that went into the shot glasses sprouted. 3 fem and 7 regular so with any luck I'll have 6 female plants for this grow.
The homemade terrarium was fun to make - but we'll see how it does
@SoOrbudgal - Exactly right. I think we hit pretty much summer peak this week. So I am hoping that I can manage through early veg and by the time I am building the manifolds the temps will be more reasonable. It got hot today, I have been running it empty and experimenting with the exhaust...
So I have a bunch of regular seeds. Now I need to pop a bunch and sex them to find the females. I would usually grow from feminized seeds and build a manifold.
So what is the best way to go? Manifold them all and grow them you and then flip to 12/12 and pull the males?
Go for a sea of...
So instead of killing the male right away - a Lemon Thai Kush purchased from Seedsman, but was a Humbolt seed - I pulled him from the tent and kept him apart until some of the sacks opened. The three females were Blueberry Haze from ILGM. I picked the female that had charastics I liked -...
There's the grow. Place your bets on the final weight. They were three Blueberry Haze from ILGM. I manifolded them and had around a nine week flower period. 750W - MH for veg and HPS for the flower.
Hey 9fingerleafs - I have pretty much taken the GrowWeedEasy.com tutorials and guides literally and at face value and have had really amazing results. So that is why I am trying to keep to 70 degrees and 50% RH. When I go to cure I get a great result when I have been able to dry that way...
Hey All - hope your grows are going well.
I harvested over the weekend and am in the tent drying. I'd like to lower the humidity some, but don't really want to get a dehumidifier in there (really don't want the additional electricity expense or to bother buying one and messing with it). I...
