Thanks Farmall for the kind words. Humidity was getting tougher to keep under control. Since I was going to defol her sister (from my other thread) I decided to trim her up as well.
I did most of it by pinching leaves with my fingers, which of course were completely covered with sticky resins...
Here’s a log for today. The low temp timeframe to the left is lights out period. The massive drop in humidity is when I opened my tent to check on things.
Here’s a pic of the temp/Rh in my large shed. You can see that my avg temp is 19.5C with Rh avg of 37.8%. I can’t do a whole lot more to the room to add heat or increase humidity. I’ll also note that these numbers are during a week where we are still barely above 0C during the day and -10C...
Just an update on her. Still getting spots on some leaves that are higher up. I think the addition of CalMag has helped a bit. I also dialed back her nutes to half they were before.
Her sister is also showing signs. Her changes were much more sudden.
She’s still a few weeks away from...
I’ve seen people comment about using brown paper bags for drying plants after harvest. Anybody have a link or some info about that? (I’m not sure if I have a way to dry plants that stays at right temp/humidity)
cheers

I’m curious if any experienced growers have tried using a 10/10 light cycle? I get the premise of tricking the plants into flowering in fewer calendar days, but wouldn’t the yields be smaller?
Cheers

This girl is an auto and 16 wks old. Harvest should be within a couple of weeks. What is happening?
- Upper leaves affected
- red stems similar to phosphorous deficiency
- DWC
- pH maintained to approx 6.1 - 6.2
- fed just Blend and bloom nutes.
- ***new light*** that I’m trying to find the...
Not sure about Runty now. Trichomes are starting to show a few amber
She’s looking a little worse for wear due to the root issue and treatment. Red stems are still bright. And freckles everywhere.
Her cola is thin but still has some good crystals although not much on the sugar leaves...
Little update.
the girls are recovering well from the treatment. Last water change I used another 1/4 dose and had almost no foaming action. This implies that the bad crap has been beaten into submission by the good crap. WIN!
Most of the leaves that were seriously affected have been slowly...
I’m not one to fondle my colas *snicker* but today I decided to get a good look at them. To my surprise, I spotted what look like new pre-flower buds, and one looks kinda... penis-ish.
1: is this normal for being a week or two away from harvest?
2: is a penis bud a sign of something wrong...
For those experienced DWC bucket growers out there, do you leave your airstone/bubbler in the middle of the root ball? Or keep it off to the side of the roots?
Since the oxygenation of h2o happens when the bubbles pop when they reach the water’s surface, plus the water being elevated and...
The little ladies are in mixed conditions of health.
I can’t say that the treatment was the full cause of the collapse of plant health. From what I can now clearly see, the all the plants I treated went through a lockout of phosphorus. One plant I also treated was Runty, which is one of the...
This is as far as I’ve got. Weekday evenings are tough to get the time I need to keep working on it. This weekend should be full install.
