I have run out of space for my light. I have it tied down a little bit but it ain’t enough. I’m 16 and a half inches from my light. I have a Spider Farmer SF1000 (2026) I currently have it cut down to 75% I have been preflowering for about 14 days now and I am hoping she is almost done stretching. Any suggestions please?

Hit them with a broom! Seriously, they need to be bent over. your tie is just making them lean. Then need to be bent hard and tied down. Take a look an my 2026 journal. Be brave and bend them over. They should be getting all the light you can pour on at that stage. Don't skimp in the light.

That is better but they can take more. Be brave. When you bend the stem over it will develop a kink in it like a bent plastic straw. Once it is bent you may want to tie it if there is no net to rest it on. Then leave them alone for a week or so. If you keep bending them yes they may break, but if just one bend and leave it they r good. The bend will heal and become stronger than it was. Try it on one stem to see how it works. You can afford to loose one stem (but you won't). It is important to leave them be to heal. The blue circles show examples of the bend. Sometimes you get a strain that doesn't like this but that is why you do a few test bends first.

Check out the info at the link. I learned about super cropping when my plants grew past the light. Didn't know that was possible but it is. @Ckbrew is spot on...be brave.
