Hello chaps. I'm on Day 70 with my purple auto and wondering when I should harvest her.
Here's a pic of a sugar leaf on topmost bud. Is she ready for the chop d'you reckon?
Here's Norma, my Northern Lights auto lady on day 39 and doing fine!
I decided to try a "natural" grow for her - outdoors and in soil (see below). Also no training, no topping/FIMing and so far no nutes.
Anybody like to predict her resultant height and shape if I continue with this strategy...
I have a new toy - a USB digital microscope made by Bysameyee. For a modest outlay of £17.99 I've got a quite impressive bit of kit magnifying up to 1000x. It can be plugged into anything except an ipad and an iphone (documentation simply says "Apple Corp. blocks the data transfer function)...
I registered with GWE on my desk-top computer and logged in no problem.
On my Microsoft tablet I can't seem to log in. I get an invitation to register - and that's it! i.e. there's no icon for logging in. It means that on my tablet I can only browse as a guest.
Anyone got a solution?
Day 57 0n this purple auto. Photo shows one of the lateral branches - there a bud developing at the top and a couple more at the nodes below. Yeah - a bit stretchy I know! Branch continues to grow vertically.
Could I/should I top this branch - or what?
I buy seeds from a reputable company - recommended by a pro grower. And I was browsing their website. The price of a single seed ranges from just a few quid to 70/80/90 bucks.
I'm just wondering what justifies this huge range of prices. Is it to do with quality/yield/reliability, or are market...
This is my purple auto, 7 weeks old today. Should it be looking a bit more "buddy" by now?
It's companion under the lights, a blueberry auto - same age - is far more developed.
Opinions? Suggestions?
I'm still a few weeks away from that momentous day when I harvest my first grow, but I thought a bit of advanced knowledge wouldn't harm.
I'm reliably informed by various tutorials that I should be flushing my plants to get rid of nutrients about a week before I make "the chop". My intention is...
Any opinions on what's happening to this rather sad-looking, slightly 'moth-eaten' fan leaf. It's the only one affected - rest of plant looks reasonably healthy.
If I'm growing indoors in an attic bedroom under artificial light will the natural light from the skylight window be of benefit or detrimental to my grow?
Simple question - I hope!
I've just seen some tiny pistils develop on several nodes.
So PHEW! they're feminine and
YIPEE! they're starting to flower.
Is this the time to switch from 16/8 to 12/12 lighting?
