On my first grow I ended up running about 700 watts of T5's and fluorescents during flowering. I know almost nothing about buying an HID light but since there's tons (literally) of used grow equipment for sale around here, I decided I might as well try a 600 watt HPS for my 2x4 grow space...

I'm not too enthused with these 2 GG4 autos. Am not sure they are worth my time and electricity. Any thoughts? Quick background... In between spring and fall indoor grows, I thought I would put a couple of quick and easy autos outside here this summer that I could harvest around Labor Day...

First grow and I've not found this condition in other threads: The bigger sweet leaves in my colas are drying up and crumbling... is this normal? Some I can pull one out of the bud, others just crumble. Hopefully, in the pics you can see where I've been pinching/crumbling the dry stuff off...

It's day 69 since first flowers for my 5 White Widows and I'm not sure if they're quite ready yet. The buds went through a swelling period around week 8-9 and are now heavy and hard. There were lots of new growths popping out on the colas during that time but that appears to have slacked off...
