What are fellow growers thoughts on washing their outdoor buds? It makes sense to me to remove dust/ pollen and caterpillar droppings. That being said it’s seems odd to get you buds wet like that. Thoughts?

Any outdoor growers have this issue? So some of my tops are missing the white hairs, a couple days ago it was only two tops now it’s four. Is there a pest that eats the hairs? Seems like the very top stops growing when this happens. I’ll post pics when I get home. Any help appreciated
