Middle aged long time partake-er in Australia with his fingers crossed and breath held that the laws around growing your own medicine are changed soon (nothing happens quickly in politics here).

I work full-time in a trade and am mature and socially responsible enough to ensure my consumption doesn't pose any kind of risk to another human being (no driving stoned, no use around children Etc.)

I keep my weekend choices to myself because of the stigma that closed minded people still believe about this amazing plant.

I'm quite resentful of the hypocrisy of laws saying it's ok to poison yourself with alcohol every weekend, but then demonise the use of cannabis. As such, I donate whatever I can to pro legalisation political parties and drug law reform groups.

I know that it's only a matter of time until the laws change and the stigma is erased but I'm frustrated at the snails pace change is moving at.

Basically I see myself as an average, hard-working, intelligent guy who believes that the majority of people who partake are of a similar composition. And I see those who believe / live out the "lazy stoner" stereotype as counter productive contributors to prohibition. (that's just my personal opinion).

I'm not comfortable with the fact that normal people such as my self are considered by some as criminals or "druggies" simply because we can see through outdated laws imposed and funded by corporate greed, and are forced to unwillingly fund what could potentially be organised crime.
