    Lighting question.

I am currently growing 3 plants and today just realized that 2 of them are males now i got rid or them but i have one left which is a female but i wanna know if i could leave the lights on for more than 12 hours even know i had it on 12 hours on and 12 off for about a week could i put it to 18 on and 6 off to give this plant more light cause it needs it due to the other plants casing to much of a shadow on it.

I'm new also but I've always started my plants on a 20/4 schedule and the switch them to 18/6 at about two months into veg. Are you flowering or veg?

If you are saying that you have only one plant left and it is a female, then there isn't much to lose so do what makes that one happy. If there are others already in flowering mode (12 hours of light) those will become very confused and you could easily lose more total production than you gain by trying to please that one happy. Or just write this experiment off and start some new plants.

If u have only had the light on 12/12 for 1 week it's fine to switch to 18/6 just give her lots of nitrogen and very low potasium as nitrogen helps the hormones go back to veg and potasium keeps the hormones on flower and that can make her hermafride but at a week u should be just fine to switch back but like I said high Nitrogen and low potasium
