    Plant Training Advice

    Hey weed nerds!
My plants are three weeks old. I'm trying to decide if I should top. I've read that the benefit of topping is encouraging a bushier plant and allowing light to penetrate bud sites. I feel like the plants are pretty bushy already (white widow and Papaya) and by using LST I can get the bud sites lit up. Should I top to get a level canopy? Or I could FIM to minimize stress since I'm starting training a bit late? Thanks for any advice!

I'd recommend topping along with training. Think of it like this: When you top, you instantly double the number of colas, which are the most productive part of the plant. So even if you don't train for a wider canopy with LST, you at least get 2 colas. Combining the 2 gets you even more colas. You can top twice and train sideways and get 8 colas; manifolding tutorial on the website details it all. I'm using it on some babies right now, it's super simple

I think I hear I might maybe once have possibly heard somebody indicated that their buddy or some other just thought that may their harvest was just a bit better when they topped and some time might have kinda been positively effected and affected by defoliation...
