Curing help

Hi guys I have some bud that's curing and when I put my meter inside the rh is above 75 should I take the buds out and let them dry a bit longer or is this normal and I should just keep burping 3 times a day til its finished...?

Hi Kyle, you need to remove them for 1-2 hours everyday till they stabilize a lower rh, and probably need to keep burping a couple times a day. How long did you dry for? In what Rh did you dry?

I dried one 4 days and the other 5 days. I dried them in 50-65% rh I think I didn't dry long enough honestly could've waited a day or two more maybe.

What would be a good stable rh for inside the jar..? 60-65% correct?

Yes 60-65, better to be a little low from my understanding, if you are too high ( rh that is) you are risking mold issues.

At 75% I'd take it out of the jars over night.

It's up to 79 almost 80 rh lol I'm gonna let them stay out for about 2 hours and see where it goes.

Yes recommend remove from jars - spread out. Ambient temps good at 70/60 if you can get it. Hang in there- they will dry

Sadly my ambient temps are around 72

So once the rh stabilizes at 60-65 I just burp once every day or what? I'm kind of curious

Yes. Roll you jar around daily or more to keep buds from clumping up they shouldn't be all stuck together, and If your holding 60-65 burp daily for a few weeks 1-3, then once a month . Most importantly in the first coulpe of days get you rh down leave them out if need be. You got this.
