I personally would just start with a filter... I use a Boogie Blue Plus Filter I got off Amazon. I attach it to the faucet I use for watering and then attach a hose to it with my sprayer

Using tap water unfiltered will kill your living soil, one must use something to kill the chloramine or chlorine from the water such as lemon juice before using it in living soil..

I had forgotten about that tbh...
I originally corrected the ph when they were seedlings, before being put into living soil. I guess I just kept the habit up even after the transplant.
so maybe some sort of nutrient lockout possible due to too low ph?

From what I've been told, you don't PH your water with living soils... Usually you only filter your tap water to remove the chlorine and chloramine... many will disagree and think I'm crazy, but my water PH is at an 8 after I run through the filter...and I think my plants look pretty dang good! I'm in living soil and do not water till run off also. If you insist on PH'ing it, only PH it to a 7... let the soil do what it's supposed to do, all the microbes and fungi etc are natural PH balancers.

I ph the water at 6.0 or a little above usually. I use the foxfarm ph down to manage this.
my ph meter broke the other day as well so I've changed to just using straight tap water until I can monitor the ph properly.
I'm growing in a supersoil mixture so I have been avoiding any runoff when watering.

Diestractd Need input! Whats the PH and what do you do for PH?
What do you feed them?

Hi Diestractd
The spots do not look too serious. Not too worry about them much so far. Keep an eye on it though...watch for spread. Could some of the marks (first set of posted photos) perhaps be marks were leaves were touching each other for a while? Regardless, keep an eye on it. I do have a suggestion, defoliate some of the older larger fan leaves to allow light to the bud sites and improve the air circulation. To help, I have attached a photo with leaves I suggest to remove marked by a red circle. Cut them off near the main stems. More could also probably be removed. You can also read the defoliating tutorial, link below. I can understand not feeling comfortable removing all of the suggested leaves but I think that it would help.

70%+ iss good for seedlings, only in flower you go 60-70% RH.
Also check out https://cals.arizona.edu/vpdcalc/ for the correct combination of RH relativ to temp.
for example: Propagation Phase 0.8 kPa - 1.0 kPa ~25C 70%Last edited by philobert; 05-25-2021, 10:53 AM.
